Altered Image competition March 2010

Thanks to Penny Piddock for coming along and judging the evening.

There was some good innovative images shown by many of the members.  This gave Penny a hard job to decide the ultimate winner for the 2009/10 season.  But in the end it went to Tessa Safadi with her 'Twin Trees' image as shown above.

Well done Tessa.

Photos For Cancer Research Campaign

The Club members donated many of their mounted prints that have been used for competitions over the past couple of years to the Cancer Research shop in Bridport in early December 2009.

This is a campaign jointly initiated by member Janet Haines and Cancer Research.  Other Clubs around the S.W. Region have also been invited to join the campaign to get their work into their local CR shops in time for the Christmas trade.

Shop Manager, Pat Blake, was delighted with the superb quality of the prints and felt that they would be "little works of Art, that our customers will enjoy buying either for their own walls or as Christmas gifts".
